FCIAC’s John Kuczo to be honored at Gold Key Dinner Sunday

The following story, written by the legendary George Albano, appears on TheHour.com web site. Click here or the link below for the entire story.

John Kuczo was not at the Gold Key Dinner back in 1958 when his father, legendary coach Paul Kuczo, received what is considered one of the highest awards in Connecticut athletics.

“I was 21 and still in college,” the FCIAC commissioner and longtime Norwalk resident recalled the other day. “So I wasn’t able to go.”

But some 56 years later, Kuzo will be in attendance at the 74th Gold Key Dinner Sunday at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington. In fact, he will be front and center, sitting at the head table as one of this year’s four Gold Key recipients.
