The New Canaan Rams and Warde Mustangs boys lacrosse teams will have their final regula-season tune-up before the playoffs when they meet at Dunning Field Tuesday night at 7 and the game will be available with live streaming video and audio from the Hersam Acorn Network and HANRadio.com.
An archive of the video broadcast is usually available within an hour of the game’s completion for on-demand viewing for subscribers.
New Canaan owns records of 12-3 overall and 9-1 in the FCIAC, and will likely be the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament, which begins on Friday. The Rams are coming off a tough 9-8 loss to St. Anthony’s, and recently scored a huge win over rival Darien by that same 9-8 score.
Warde is 7-8 overall and 3-7 in conference action. While the Mustangs will not qualify for the FCIAC tournament, they have earned a berth in the Class L playoffs and are currently 20th in the standings.
The game coverage is part of the Hersam Acorn Network’s teaming with the NFHS Network to add live video to HAN Radio, southwestern Connecticut’s leader in live high school sports coverage.
The live sporting events and archived video are available for a subscription fee, which varies based on how long you want access to Hersam Acorn’s content on the NFHS Network. Part of the subscription fee will benefit the ongoing operations of the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference (FCIAC), its member schools and student athletes.
HAN Radio and HAN Video are part of Hersam Acorn’s HAN Network of websites, newspapers, audio, video, advertising and more. Much of HAN’s daily news and sports programming is broadcast live on video. You can watch the videos or check out the daily schedule at HANRadio.com/livestream/.
