Norwalk High to host college recruiting/scholarship panel on Jan. 27

Norwalk High School athletes and the Fairfield County Sports Commission will be co-hosting a College Recruiting/Scholarship Panel from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 27.

“Everything You Need to Know About College Sports Recruiting But Were Afraid to Ask” free panel discussion at the NHS auditorium will feature those most closely involved in the college sports recruiting and scholarship process.

The discussion will cover the college recruiting process from making initial contact to financial aid opportunities, and will help high school students, parents, coaches and administrators.

Panelists will include Meghan Miller, Senior Associate Athletic Director for compliance, Sacred Heart University; Cary Nadel, Director of Scouting, Northeast Region, National Scouting Report; Karen Pellegrino, Dean of Enrollment, Fairfield University; and Jim O’Brien, Fairfield University women’s soccer coach.

All aspects of this life-changing decision will be discussed with a full Q&A session to answer specific questions.
