This senior was awarded the Presidential Scholarship Award, she has a weighted GPA of 3.7 while taking Honors classes throughout her high school career along with demanding courses such as AP Biology and AP Psychology, she has been invited to apply for the Leadership Fellows Program, and she has already accepted early admission to High Point University in North Carolina.
Morgan is also a leader and team captain of the Dance Team who helps choreograph dances, collaborates with the other team captains and helps organize fundraisers for team events.
Will Crane, Darien
Will is a senior captain who has been a four-year varsity member of both the wrestling and sailing teams.

Paulina Mandujano, Norwalk
Paulina has been on the High Honor Roll all four years at Norwalk High while taking AP and Honors classes since her sophomore year and she maintained a 3.5 GPA.
She took up the sport of soccer when she was 10 years old, steadily improved since then and became a team captain for the 2015 season, and she also played lacrosse all four years after first beginning the sport as a freshman.
Paulina was accepted into every college she applied to, she decided to attend the College of Mount Saint Vincent and she plans on playing both sports there.
Bobby Osborn, Darien
This senior, destined for Hamilton College, is a National Honor Society member who has a 3.9 GPA while taking many demanding classes such as AP Calculus AP, AP English Literature, AP Economics, AP Physics, and AP Government and Politics US.
Bobby is also an excellent player and senior captain for Darien’s boys’ golf team, carrying a 1.3 handicap. He was also a soccer player and a founding member of the paddle tennis team.
He is a percussionist for the Pit Orchestra of the Darien High School Theater 308 and Darien High School Honors Wind Ensemble and a member of the Tri-M National Honor Music Society.
Bobby also volunteers for several community organizations.
Carlee Pickering, Ludlowe
This High Honors student is an excellent cheerleader who won FCIAC championships in 2015 and ’16 and a State Open title in 2016. Carlee was also an All-American cheerleader and a member of the National Honor Society.
Carlee, who will attend the University of Connecticut, was a Proud Unified Sports Partner and president of the “Circle of Friends” club for special needs students.
Ryan Searles, Norwalk
This senior has achieved academic High Honors every semester throughout his high school career, he has a 3.9 GPA and was recently named a Future Global Leader.
He played for the basketball team and is currently one of the top baseball players in the FCIAC, having been named FCIAC Honorable Mention in the previous two seasons.
Ryan is also an excellent artist who has had numerous art pieces displayed in the city-wide student art show.
Emily Simonds, Warde
This is the third consecutive school year that Emily has been selected by the FCIAC as a Scholar Athlete of the Month.
This captain of the girls’ tennis team has been a No. 1 singles player for her team, she was selected to the FCIAC All-East Team and he has been an Honor Roll student every year since her freshman year.
She was also a center-midfielder who helped the girls’ soccer win a conference co-championship in 2014.
Emily has volunteered for many community organizations such as Humanity Now, which raises funds to provide necessities such as clean drinking water and proper education to young girls in Qatar, Africa, and the Appalachia Service Project.
She was also a student leader, program facilitator and tennis Instructor for Norwalk Grassroots Tennis, which teaches tennis and life skills to children from low-income families in and around the Norwalk Housing Authority.
