Scholar Athletes

  • Student-athlete should demonstrate leadership qualities by:
    1. Being a positive role model for other students both on and off the field.
    2. Exhibiting an ability to help a teammate overcome adversity.
    3. Showing a commitment to self-improvement.
    4. Putting the needs of the team before themselves.
  • Academic standing; Students who apply for the FCIAC scholar-athlete of the month should have a minimum of a B (3.0) average in the current marking period. Athletic Directors will verify academic information with their Guidance Department.
  • Coaches/athletes must provide information on current athletic prowess and success on the field. Information should be for the current season. No past records/information should be on application.
