New Canaan 23, Staples 6 - Meg Boland and Alexandra Crerend each racked up six goals and two assists while Jenny Simpson had five goals and two assists to lead the Rams, in the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference game.

Maddie Mazuk (one save) and Charlotte Spitzfaden (five saves) split time in goal for New Canaan (9-3, 6-3).

Becca Tash had a hat trick while goalie Kristin Lewis stopped eight shots for Staples.

Fairfield Warde 16, Norwalk 12 - Steph Pola and Rachel Friedman combined to score 11 goals to lead Warde. Pola had six goals and Friedman five.

Nicole Shusdock fired in seven goals, including her milestone 100th career goal, to lead Norwalk (4-8).

Shusdock now has 103 career goals.

Layla Kuz-Dworzak had three goals and one assist, Rachel Holmes and Olga Sidirapolous each scored a goal, while Norwalk goalie Tori Landon had a stellar game with 16 saves.
