The FCIAC would like to express its deepest sympathy for the victims of the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown today.
While the league and the CIAC are not requiring their member schools to cancel their girls and boys basketball games scheduled for this evening, many schools have postponed out of respect for the victims of the tragedy in Newtown.
Some schools that are playing tonight will honor the victims with a moment of silence before the start of the games.
As of 3 p.m., the schedule for Friday, Dec. 14, with postponements, is as follows. Any further updates will be posted here as soon as they are available.
