NORWALK—Adriana Alfisi’s own worst critic has always been staring back at her in a mirror.
After Norwalk defeated Brien McMahon 5-2 on Monday at Testa Field, that critic was silenced.
Alfisi scored three goals and assisted on another to lead the Bears to the win over their cross-city archrivals.

The Westhill High School girls volleyball team continued their season to remember Monday as the Vikings swept intracity rival Trinity Catholic, 25-13, 25-19, 25-19 at historic Walsh Court.
The victory improved Westhill to 10-0 overall and 6-0 in the FCIAC.
“Being 10-0 is great,” said Westhill senior Nikki Newcomer. “It’s been amazing so far. It’s nice that all the hard work we’re doing in practice each day is paying off. We want success this year so badly.”
