Ridgefield:
Ridgefield High School is currently accepting applications for the position of Freshmen Girls Lacrosse Coach for the current spring season.
Successful candidates will:
- Hold a valid Connecticut teaching Certificate, five year Coaching Permit or one year Temporary Emergency Coaching Permit.
- Have successfully completed and possess current certificates in standard first aid, CPR/AED and concussion training.
- Have substantial knowledge of the sport for which the application is made.
- Have knowledge of legal and safety aspects of coaching, medical aspects of coaching adolescents, principles and practices of coaching adolescents and adolescent sports psychology.
- Show evidence of kindness, intelligence and the ability to work effectively with student athletes and with adults.
- Possess a steady composure, a sense of humor and grace under pressure.
