The following is a list of postings for coaching positions at FCIAC schools. The listings will be updated as frequently as possible, but for more the most up-to-date information, please contact the athletic directors as the schools. All candidates should hold a valid CT Coaching Certificate or be able to apply for a temporary one year certificate.

Ridgefield High School is currently accepting applications for the position of Freshmen Girls Lacrosse Coach for the current spring season.

Successful candidates will:

  • Hold a valid Connecticut teaching Certificate, five year Coaching Permit or one year Temporary Emergency Coaching Permit.
  • Have successfully completed and possess current certificates in standard first aid, CPR/AED and concussion training.
  • Have substantial knowledge of the sport for which the application is made.
  • Have knowledge of legal and safety aspects of coaching, medical aspects of coaching adolescents, principles and practices of coaching adolescents and adolescent sports psychology.
  • Show evidence of kindness, intelligence and the ability to work effectively with student athletes and with adults.
  • Possess a steady composure, a sense of humor and grace under pressure.
