Girls soccer: Ridgefield now 9-0 after win over Darien

More than halfway through the regular season, the Ridgefield High girls soccer team is yet to lose or allow a goal.

With goalie Lauren Castle and defenders Claire Middlebrook, Amelia Hynes, Carrina Dabroi, and Carolyn Donovan combining for another shutout, the Tigers defeated Darien, 2-0, on Saturday in Ridgefield.

The defending Class LL state champs are now 9-0 and have outscored the opposition by a combined 35-0.
