The Ridgefield High boys and girls cross country teams opened their seasons with sweeps at home on Tuesday.
Taking six of the top-seven spots, the Ridgefield High girls cross country team opened the season by beating Darien, 18-44, Stamford, 15-50, and Westhill, 15-50, at Ridgefield High School.
