Overcoming an outstanding performance from Justice Ellison, Greenwich registered an 86-76 comeback win in double overtime against South Windsor Thursday in the first round of the Bristol Central Basketball Tournament.
The Cardinals (2-1) will play either Bristol Central or Wolcott in Saturday’s 4:30 p.m. championship game.
Ellison, a junior, scored a game-high 54 points, including six 3-pointers to power South Windsor, which saw Greenwich stage a fourth-quarter comeback to force overtime.
