DARIEN — Grace Gilman couldn’t stop smiling following New Canaan’s field hockey victory over rival Darien on Friday.
Of course, that’s what happens when you win twice in one day.
“We were so hyped,” Gilman, the Rams’ starting goalie, said. “We also had a pep rally (for homecoming) today, and we won the pep rally and then we won this, so it’s a really great day for New Canaan field hockey.”
