FAIRFIELD — There were 44 FCIAC softball championships won before Fairfield Ludlowe claimed its first in 2021.
A year later the Falcons have further solidified themselves as a softball powerhouse, defeating Danbury 2-0 to claim its second straight title on Wednesday at Sacred Heart University.
