As New Canaan’s Charlotte Moor raced up the final hill at Wickham Park on Saturday, she was all alone. The next closest runner was still about 15 seconds down the hill as the Ram sophomore crossed the finish line.
While that solitary moment is common in cross country, the secret to the Rams’ success this season, Moor said, is sharing everything, from the fun to the pain.
