HARTFORD — The long wait is over for the Greenwich boys soccer program.
For the first time since 1961, the Greenwich boys soccer team is state champion, completing one of the most improbable runs through a state tournament with a 3-2 (4-3 PKs) win over Hall in the CIAC Class LL title game.
