Original Story: FCIAC girls hockey returns to the HAN Network as the Wilton/Norwalk/McMahon co-op takes on Stamford/Westhill/Trinity/Staples co-op at Terry Conners Rink on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 5:40 pm.

You can watch the HAN Network’s live pregame show at 5:30 p.m., and the game live at HAN.Network, FCIAC.net, or on Frontier Communications’ Vantage Sports Network (Chs. 600/1600). Frank Granito, John Kovach, and Kevin Coleman will be on the call.

Wilton/Norwalk/McMahon enters Wednesday night’s contest 1-2 in the FCIAC and 1-3 overall, with two points. Sophomore center Meghan Lane will look to ignite the offensive rush as she has burst onto the scene as one of the top players in the conference. Lane scored 28 goals last year and this year has scored 11 of the team’s 16 goals in their first four games.

The Stamford/Westhill/Trinity/Staples co-op are still searching for their first win of the year as they come into this game with a record of 0-5 overall and 0-2 in the FCIAC. This is the first season Trinity has joined the co-op, as last year the Stamford/Westhill/Staples team finished 4-16 overall.

Junior goalie Mary Leydon is coming off an impressive performance in the loss to Greenwich, when she had 38 saves. Head coach Andrew Stallings continues to praise his junior goalie as she continues to show why she is the heart and soul of this team on and off the ice.
