SOUTHBURY — For the Fairfield Ludlowe volleyball team, history is repeating in the Class LL state tournament.
The No. 14 seed defeated No. 1 Cheshire 3-1 on Wednesday, and will advance to the championship for the first time since 2015, when it won its first state title in program history.
