DANBURY—With the FCIAC boys basketball tournament less than three weeks away, Darien and Danbury are both fighting for playoff berth.
The teams entered Monday night with identical 4-4 conference records, and both were looking to put an end to a skid.
While nearly all involved were expecting a close game, it was Darien who came away victorious as the final buzzer rang, 55-54.
