DANBURY — Greenwich’s Zachary Carifa won the 110-meter hurdles and had to just keep running to make his jump in the high jump, which was starting immediately after.
Carifa’s hustle along with the effort of the rest of the Cardinals helped deliver the school’s first outright FCIAC Outdoor Boys Track and Field Championship since 1976. They were co-champions with Staples in 1990.
