FAIRFIELD — There were 44 FCIAC softball championships won before Fairfield Ludlowe claimed its first in 2021. A year later the Falcons have further solidified themselves as a softball powerhouse, defeating Danbury 2-0 to claim its second straight title on Wednesday at Sacred Heart University. FCIAC boys lacrosse final moved to Saturday
The FCIAC boys lacrosse final has been moved to Saturday morning, due to the funeral of a Darien student who died last week. The game between No. 1 Darien and No. 3 Wilton will now be played at 11 a.m., Saturday, at Brien McMahon.
