Westhill volleyball stays perfect at 10-0

STAMFORD—Perfection should always be savored. Especially five weeks into a high school season.

The Westhill High School girls volleyball team continued their season to remember Monday as the Vikings swept intracity rival Trinity Catholic, 25-13, 25-19, 25-19 at historic Walsh Court.

The victory improved Westhill to 10-0 overall and 6-0 in the FCIAC.

“Being 10-0 is great,” said Westhill senior Nikki Newcomer. “It’s been amazing so far. It’s nice that all the hard work we’re doing in practice each day is paying off. We want success this year so badly.”
