STAMFORD — Just another routine battle for the Stamford city softball championship.
The Stamford High School softball team forged a tie in the bottom of the seventh and pushed across two runs in the eighth to finally secure a dramatic 6-4 extra inning triumph over Westhill Wednesday at the Vikings’ Allyson Rioux Field.
