Eight teams will begin play in the FCIAC boys tennis tournament when the quarterfinals hit the courts on Wednesday at the home sites of the top four seeds.
Defending conference champion Staples is the No. 1 seed, with the Wreckers entering the tournament with a 15-1 record. New Canaan, which is also 15-1, is the No. 2 seed.

Quarterfinals – Wednesday, May 15
No. 8 Ludlowe (9-7) at No. 1 Staples (15-1), 4 p.m.
No. 7 Westhill (10-6) at No. 2 New Canaan (15-1), 4 p.m.
No. 6 Wilton (12-4) at No. 3 Darien (14-2), 4 p.m.
No. 5 Ridgefield (12-4) at No. 4 Greenwich (13-3), 4:30 p.m.
Semifinals – Friday, May 17
At highest remaining seeds, 4 p.m.
Final – Tuesday, May 21
