John Marinelli, fresh off leading the Greenwich football team to a perfect season, Class LL championship and No. 1 state ranking in his fourth year at the school, stepped down today as coach.
Marinelli is going to the University of Arizona as an offensive analyst. Marinelli has developed a close relationship with Noel Mazzone, the team’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
