Mike Forget was getting his Darien football team ready for practice earlier this season when senior running back Tighe Cummiskey approached him with a bold strategic plan.
“He told me one day in practice, coach we should never kick an extra point, let’s always go for two. Just give me the ball,” Forget said.
While the always-go-for-two idea hasn’t come into play, handing the ball to Cummiskey in most circumstances certainly seems like a good move.
