RIDGEFIELD — Defenseman Chris Hamilton and his Ridgefield teammates had to play a long playoff overtime on Saturday. He really didn’t want to do it again Tuesday.
Hamilton pounced on a blocked shot and scored with 5.4 seconds left to lift the Tigers past Simsbury 2-1 at the Winter Garden in the CIAC Division I boys hockey first round.
