John Marinelli announced on Twitter Thursday afternoon that he has stepped down as coach of the Greenwich football team after spending four seasons at the helm.
“I have stepped down as head football coach at Greenwich High School,” Marinelli said in his statement on Twitter. “I want to thank the administration, teachers, community, parents and most importantly, the players for the amazing experience of being your head coach.
